In the TurboTax application, I do not have a Box 2 available to fill out for my 1098-T.

There is no option to enter the Box 2 amount in TurboTax.

Schools are no longer supposed to be using Box 2 for reporting information on the 1098-T. This information should now be reported only in Box 1.

If you have values in both Box 1 and Box 2, and your Box 1 properly reports what was paid to your school, simply enter the amount from Box 1. Box 2 would then be only for your informational purposes and would not be entered into TurboTax.

If there is only an amount in Box 2 and Box 1 is empty, I recommend contacting your school for an updated 1098-T showing the proper amount in Box 1 only.
