School did not give me a 1098-T form for 2017 because I only did the spring 2017 semester, which they said was included in 2016 1098-T form (but box 7 was not checked).

So I talked to my school and they said that since I only did the spring semester in 2017 and then graduated, they had billed that term in the 2016 1098-T form, however the box 7 in 1098-T from 2016 was NOT checked. So what the school said is that I am not eligible to receive a 1098-T form for the year 2017. So when I file the taxes, should I say that I didn't receive a 1098-T form but still claim the money? Or should I skip the section completely that I went to school in 2017 at all?

Thanks.

There is nothing to report for 2017, so you can skip that section.  Regardless if box 7 was checked for the Form 1098T-2016, the education expenses and credits would have been allowed in 2016. Check your 2016 tax return to make sure you did take advantage of the allowable amounts on that tax return.  If necessary you can amend that return to include your education information.
