Working on 2025 taxes. Vet school daughter not a dependent. We paid her tuition and expenses and were reimbursed from 529 plan. Adjusted qualified expenses exceed 529 distribution amount on 1099-Q.
Previous posts indicate I do not need to enter any of this into TT as long as I have documentation/worksheets that shows qualified expenses exceed 529 distributions. Is that correct?
In previous TT versions, the interview asked all the right questions and filled out the ESA/QTP worksheet for me. This year (2025 version), the interview does not ask the questions to populate the worksheet. Something is off. I have used TT for 20 years. I am good at following directions. Is there a software flaw?

You can't enter those expenses yet. This is a known glitch in TurboTax (TT). They are working on it (no announced fix date). The 2025 education and 529 sections appear totally redesigned, from last year.

A. Yes.
Thanks. Nice to know the glitch is in the software and not in my brain.
