It won’t except the correct school code

It says I need to enter correct school code but doesn’t work

If the program is looping an error message pertaining to your School District Code, you can try one of the options below to "fix" your issue.

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Click on Tax Tools (left-hand menu), then Click on Tools, and finally Click on Delete a form.
3. Find the form causing the issue (e.g., Information Worksheet, State School District Summary, or Form 1098-T), and Delete it.
4. Log out of TurboTax, clear your browser cache/cookies, and log back in.
5. Re-enter the school code from scratch.

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Click on the State tab, and Select Edit next to your state.
3. Look for General Information or Residency.
4. Proceed through the screens until you see the County/School District selection. Often, choosing the district from a dropdown menu here will override the manual entry error you're seeing elsewhere.
