So I should file the tax again freshly in sprintax irrespective of whatever I filed in TurboTax. Is it right? @DawnC
Yes, you will create a completely new form 1040NR and use it to replace the form you already filed. Which is why you write Amended across the top and attach it to the 1040x. Yes, that is correct. You are filing an amendment to file a 1040 NR instead of a 1040 resident return.
