Yes. Student loan interest is an "Adjustment to Income" reported on Schedule 1 of your return. TurboTax Free Edition does not support Schedule 1.

Thank you! So why when I do choose to upgrade am i charge $59.99 (which i don't mind paying) as well as 49.99. Only one of these charges is made clear when it says the cost to upgrade.
