If it is not included in your return, it was not used to calculate an education credit. Check last year's return and see if you have Schedule 3 with your Form 1040. If so, check on Line 3 of Schedule 3. If there is an amount there, you took an education credit and the details of your 1098-T are included. If there is no amount on Line 3 of Schedule 3, you did not take the credit and that data is not in your tax return.
You are not required to enter the 1098-T, and unless you are taking an education credit, TurboTax won't ask for it. TurboTax doesn't keep copies of your tax forms. We only use the applicable data you entered from the forms to prepare your return. Unused data does not get stored; only data on your filed tax return will be included with your printouts.
