To add your 1098 (form OMB) to your return, try this:

If this is an interest paid for your student loan or mortgage interest, follow these steps with your return Open:

• Go to Federal Taxes
• Then deductions and credits
• scroll down to either Education or Your Home, depending on the type of interest paid
• Click Start or Revisit next to the category you need (screen shot attached to this answer)
• Follow the prompts

Alternatively,

1. With your return open, search for "1098" and then select the "Jump to" link in the search results.
2. Answer any preliminary questions, and you'll then be asked for the name of your mortgage company. Enter the name and select Continue.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter the rest of your 1098 info.
