when i fill out my 1098-t information it is asking how many times i claimed education credits and 2 was filled in is this true because I really dont know

It's asking because you only get to claim the American Opportunity Credit four times.

If you've always used TurboTax the carried forward number should be correct.

I am too old to be claimed on my parent's return. I checked the box that someone else could claim me. Is there a way to remove this?
