Do i fill out both forms? 1098-T and Form 8863?? I received a 1098-T f and it states I have to file Form 8863 for tax credits, confused on if i fill out both. Thank you

Yes, you do.  In the program, once you enter the Form 1098-T information, it will automatically create a Form 8863 for your to file.  Here are the steps:

In TurboTax online,

• Sign in to your account, select Pick up where you left off
• At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in "1098t" and Enter
• Select Jump to 1098t
• On the screen, Now Let's gather XYZ's Additional Education Expenses
• Follow prompts
• Next screen, Your Education Expenses Summary, select Edit
• Next screen Here's Your Education Summary, under Tuition, select Edit to enter tuition information

I went and filled out form 1098T where it was actually listed. Not sure if I did right or not, I will try this path and see if it's the same. I also was confused on what amount goes in box 1. Is this something you can answer? If so, is it only the amount I have paid in payments? Than!k you so much

Yes.  That's correct.You will enter the 1098-T information the exact same way how it's actually reported on the paper.
