I've added Form 8863 and the instructions say to first fill out Part III - which is on page 2. However, when I go to add 8863 Page 2 (or quickzoom to it), I get the a window with: "Add Form 8863 p2" but the Add Form button does nothing. The text in the middle of the window says "Create new copy. (Choos the 'Student Information Worksheet' in the Forms Menu to create a new copy and enter data.)". However, I don't want a new copy of the Student Information Worksheet. I tried deleting the 8863 and adding page 2 first, but this gave the same message. Any help would be apprecaited. Thanks.

Why are you trying to do manual forms, instead of using the interview to generate form 8863. The data you enter in the interview first goes to the student info work sheet then it generates the IRS forms. Once the form is generated by the interview, you can review it and override as needed.
It appears that Turbotax does not believe this return is eligible for the credit involved and so doesn't generate it. However, I should be able to fill it in and see the data if I desire.
There also appears to be a bug with TurboTax where the interview is not generating forms. For example, if form 1098-T was filled in during the previous year, when starting on a new return this year, it keeps a 1098-T but never prompts for the data - it has to be entered manually. The 1098-T has to be deleted and re-added for it to show. I thought perhaps that was part of the issue with this form as well.
Go through the entire education interview until you reach a screen titled "Your Education Expenses Summary". Click edit next to the student's name. That should take you to a screen “Here’s your Education Summary”. Click edit next to the section you want to change; tuition, in your case (click edit next to the school name).
Wow! This bug is still around! I switched from the interview to the forms method when the interview was saying things like "you don't need to do the 1098-T, unless you want to for your own knowledge" and "Looks like your student's scholarship is taxable". I tried the method you suggested, but it did not let me edit the form info. However, I pressed forward with the interview after trying the edits from the summary page. Lo and behold, it recognized all the info I put into the manual form, allowed me to answer a few additional questions, then decided I could get the $2500 credit! Whoo-hoo! Thanks for the suggestion.
I am having same issue. Am NOT allowed to add Form 8863 page 2
