1098T error in Box 7

I already e-filed my federal return but realized that I made an error. I entered that Box 7 of my 1098 T is unchecked, when in fact it is checked. Should I expect to amend my return? Will this have a significant effect on my refund?

No.  You do not need to amend your return. 

Box 7 is checked to show the tuition amount you paid in 2016 includes the the spring semester in 2017.  It is informational and will not change the refund on your return.
