There is no way to  pay " to have state come with Federal."   That's not an option. The 2 types of refunds come from 2 different tax agencies doing their own thing.  If they arrive on the same day, it's just a heckuva coincidence.

I was saying i filed my taxes and was accepted on the 18th, i paid 34.99 to have them done, my daughter filed hers 3 days after me and she got hers. When i completed my taxes it said id be the first in line, i just wanna know whats going on.

The IRS is pretty much autonymous.   Are you expecting any EIC (earned income credit) or ACTC (additional child tax credit)?   If so, the IRS will not start releasing those refunds until February 15, which means filers with those types of credits will start seeing refunds around the 27th of February.

You mentioned the Fed being accepted.  Was the State accepted, too?
