No, you do not check final.  Since you didn't dissolve the LLC until 2017, you will have to file a 2017 return.  You will file your final Form 568 next year.   The $800 you are paying now is for 2016.

David,  your answer states that the $800 tax paid with the 2017 Form 568/3522 Tax Voucher is for 2016.   Yet, Line 3 of Form 568 clearly indicates that it's for 2017:  "2017 annual Limited Liability Company tax."  I'm confused by this - could you please clarify as I have a similar situation.  Thanks.
