Section 965 of the Internal Revenue Code or "IRC 965", governs the transitional taxation of deferred foreign income from foreign corporations.  I did not find any guidance for 2018, but I found this publication from 2017 on the irs.gov website How to Calculate Section 965 Amounts and Elections
