Roth Conversion tax rate

TT appears to tax my 50k Roth conversion from my retirement account at 34% when my AGI is only 237,020

What do I need to do to get the appropriate tax rate ?

Roth Conversion tax rate

Have you looked at your ENTIRE tax return for what changed?

Adding an 'extra' $50k of income to a tax return can affect many things, including reducing (or eliminating) certain deductions or credits, as well as other potential changes that result in more tax.

My guess is that extra income affected other things on the return, which effectively increased your tax based on those other things.
