Where do I enter contract labor in my schedule f for my farm business?

I've filed 1099s for two employees, but it isn't clear how to enter them into my schedule f.

When entering farm expenses into the long list in Turbotax that starts with "Chemicals", there is a box for Gross Wages. Most of the answers given on TT specify that farmers should enter contract labor into this Gross Wages box, and that it will translate as Labor Hired on Schedule F. The problem I see in 2019 is that at the end of the long list of expenses, there is a statement:

Note: The Gross Wages amount you enter (if applicable) must match box 1 of your Form W-3 for 2019. Do not include payments to independent contractors.

This statement in the TT system directly contradicts the answers we are receiving in help forums. TT is telling us not to include contract labor expenses in Gross Wages.

What I plan to do, until TT can clear up this issue, is specify contract labor as "Contract Services" under Other Expenses.
