The first page of Personal Info has a question at the bottom regarding the language preference. Check there to see how it is filled out.

Below is the question and response

Q: I want to change the language the IRS uses to send me written communications.

Response: No.

This seems to be in order. So not sure why the schedule was created.

There was absolutely nothing about language preference asked or answered in personal info section.

If you are using TurboTax Online (most people do), please navigate to the "Your Personal Info" section. When the page opens, scroll down to "I want to change the language the IRS uses to send me written communications." It's near the bottom, and answer Yes or No.
