That doesn't sound like any kind of a "farming" business to me. Sounds more like a SCH C business. However, please provide more details on "EXACTLY" what you have and "EXACTLY" what you do. I ask, because someone who raises cattle to sell the milk, reports on SCH F. If you raise horses, then depending on "EXACTLY" what you do with those horses will determine if you have a SCH C or SCH F business.
I myself do not know all that much about SCH F. But I do know that horses are considered livestock and their treatment as a SCH F business asset is completely different than what I am familiar with for a SCH C asset.
Need details like what kind of business services and/or products you provide and what assets you own that are used for the production of income. For example, the horse itself is not the only asset that would be used for the production of income. Those horses have to be fed, housed, vaccinated, etc, etc, etc,.
Clients come to us from 5 to 8 days. We are all inclusive so we provide transportation, lodging, meals and daily horseback riding. We own 12 horses that we care for here onour property.
You will use Schedule C to report your income and expenses for your business.
Schedule F is used to report farming or agricultural activities.
