Hello,
I live in VT and sell items on Ebay. My sales for 2019 exceeded the Vermont threshold of $600 for 1099K reporting, so PayPal issued me said form. I am doing my taxes using TurboTax Deluxe 2019 and have filled out a Schedule C for my Ebay "business". I have filled out all my expenses, fees, purchases, etc. However, I am confused about where I enter the information reported on my 1099K. Does the "Gross Payments" amount reported on the 1099K generated by PayPal go on line 1a (Enter other gross receipts or sales NOT reported on a 1099-MISC), or line 1c (Enter gross receipts or sales reported on a 1099-K) of the Schedule C?
It seems I would enter the Gross Payments amount on line 1c, but for me to do so, it requires me to fill out a 1099-K worksheet. Is this what I'm supposed to do? or would that be like reporting those payments twice to the IRS since they have already presumably gotten a copy of the same 1099-K I received from PayPal. I just don't want it to look like I am reporting double the payments I received by filling out a 1099-K in addition to the 1099-K PayPal has already furnished to the IRS on my behalf.
Just to reiterate my question, do I report my gross payments from my 1099-K on line 1a or line1c of the Schedule C?
Thank You

Report the income from the 1099K on line 1c of Schedule C. It is not double reporting just because a copy of the 1099K was sent to the IRS. The IRS gets copies of everything related to income so they can match it to your return. You still have to report it on your return.
