Past taxes account transcript: "requested data not found"

Hello,

I have requested a few years of account transcripts from the IRS for our small business, which is now closed. Most have information, but some (older ones) say "requested data not found". Some are from years I know we were still in business and I'm sure the returns were processed. Or did I not file for those years or has there been a mistake? Does anyone know what this statement means? Should I be worried?

how old is old?.  the IRS keeps data generally for only 6 years.

The oldest one is 2001. My husband ran us into the ground and I'm trying to repair back taxes from that date and pay it off. It's a mess. Would the statute of limitations apply to us in the years before 2010? 

I don't know if you can answer that for me but I thought it would throw it out there.
