Once you clear & start over, does it bring prior's data or does it cut off any ties with prior year's data?

I accidentally deleted a bunch of data thinking it's not longer relevant but I think I do.  If I clear and start over, I know it wipes out my entire 2019 tax return data but will that still bring up my prior data and read my prior data? or is it simply a blank slate?

When you start over the program will transfer the 2018 tax data if you are using the same User ID.
