See the work-around posted earlier in this thread. We expect the update to be released on March 29, 2024, will address this issue.
@PatriciaV Thank you for the response! I will wait for the release of the fix
FYI - an update processed this morning, and I was able to file my taxes - finally! My only issue had been Box C, can't speak to any other pending issues. Good luck all.
Awesome News! I too got the update and filed my Tax Return with no further issues
Joke is still on us. I was able to file but it was rejected. TurboTax admits that it was a problem on their end and that they expect the issue to be resolved in an April 5th update.
It’s April 5th TurboTax, where’s the update and fix for this issue?
That figure is used for other calculations on other forms not simply a place holder to remove and place elsewhere, and its April 6th and no update or remedy for this situation
The entry from Schedule K-1 (from both Form 1065 and 1120S) for Box 12/13 Code A/C is being reported on Schedule A. If you have made this entry in the past, you may wish to review your K-1 entries. You may need to remove Box 12/13 Code A/C entirely, save and re-open your return, then enter the info again.
If you're using TurboTax for Desktop, you can verify this entry is being reported using Forms Mode.
In the forms list, look for "Contrib Wks K-1." The form name includes the K-1 name and the box/code for the charitable donation. Part VI of that form displays either a 50% charity or Other than 50% charity.
