import expenses from credit card

In TurboTax Online, after you set up your Business, and enter your Business Income,  you should get a screen with a video about entering expenses.  Continue, and on the next page you'll get the screen to Connect Accounts.

If you already have a Business and tried to connect accounts for the new one, you'll get an error telling you that you can't do this for a second business, unless you delete the first one.

If this applies, and you delete your first business, you'll get the Connect Accounts link when you Edit the new business.

The second screen posted above is from TurboTax Desktop.

No, the "Connect Accounts" option / button / page,  it is still not appearing.
I have done the below

- deleted income -> not appearing

- deleted business, then reenter business -> not appearing.

Your screenshot are old and not reflective of the current situation. I invite you to redo this (clear your cache etc.) and witness that this functionality is not appearing.

import expenses from credit card

For everyone still wondering how you can fix this, I’ll cut to the chase, you can’t. Delete your return using the side bar option ‘start over’ and just redo it all. These employees will not help you. Don’t bother calling in either because they have no clue what to do as well.

Yes, same, had to delete the first line of work that I had already connected to get the import button to show up.

This feature is designed to only allow one import per Intuit Account.  It is for your own protection and security.

import expenses from credit card

Clearly y'all here at Intuit need to revisit how this feature is being used. If you look through this thread there's a ton of people that imported expenses last year at great convenience and now come to find that it only works one time one year. Y'all know we need to do these things every year. For my protection? You mean you don't want someone else to log into my account and be able to import their own expenses? Really really silly, I turned my head when Intuit tricked me into paying for taxes multiple years that should have been free, but this is stupid as all get out. Everyone in this thread I suggest y'all find somewhere else to do your taxes next year as Intuit has lost the plot, or never had it. Who would think this feature was good to use only one time as if a business doesn't incur new expenses every year, triflin

Triflin,  you hit it on the head my friend. A business gets to import expenses one time one year?? And then Intuit argues that it’s for our safety? This is total BS. Don’t add the feature if it doesn’t work. I wouldn’t have wasted hours trying to get it to function! Make this a robust feature if you care about your customers. Don’t argue that you make a crap feature that doesn’t function correctly for our safety. Ridiculous.

import expenses from credit card

This is such a broken frustrating process... if I delete all expenses or a handful the system should:

1. Let me pull them in as many times as I want or need

2. Recognize duplicates

I am seriously considering switching tax software tomorrow... the answers and non-help on the topic weren't close to the experience I expected or expect from Turbo Tax.
