Last year Turbo Tax allowed you to link your bank and import expenses directly from credit cards and other sources shown in the video below, but this year I can't find that option, please help.

In TurboTax Online, under Wages & Income, click on Add/Edit next to Self Employment. then the pencil icon next to your Business,

You should get a page with Expenses where you can scroll down to Import Expense Transactions.

Similarlyto the original poster, I am no longer seeing that option on my end and only see manually adding expenses for this work.Screenshot 2025-02-06 at 9.42.30 AM.png

I'm having the same issue, the "import expense transactions" button is gone.  I did import my expenses from one account.  It's possible that you can only do this once.  Annoying, hopefully they will let you add 2 accounts in the future.

I am having the same issue! The “import expense transactions” is not an option! Is this going to be fixed???

Are you not finding the option?  Or is the option not performing correctly?  Please advise.

In TurboTax Online, under Wages & Income, click to the right of Self Employment.

Then click the pencil icon to the right of your self-employment activity,

At the screen Here's your info, under Expenses select Import Expense Transactions.

The 'Import' button is missing for me as well, not a visible option on my screen.

In the Business Expenses section, you should see a link to Connect Accounts to import transactions.  You can also import a TXF file of transactions.

Edit your Business and go to the Expenses section.

If you're using TurboTax Online, close the program and clear your Cache and Cookies first.

If this doesn't resolve your issue, let us know and we'll try to help.

You can also Contact TurboTax Support for more help.

This is happening to me as well. I've tried clearing my cache and cookies.

The blue "Import Expense Transactions" does not exist at all. It's no where to be found.

If I go to the Wages & Expenses tab, there is no option to "Connect My Accounts"

Why would TurboTax take this feature away?

I figured it out! The import expenses does not show up on an existing line of work from last year. You need to add a new line of work from the page titled "Your 2024 self-employed work summary" and delete the old one.
