Sch D part II line 9 looks like this
This section reportLong Term Capital Gain or Loss from the Sale of Assets. Is this what you are referring to? Or maybe, you are referring to interest income and that would simply be recorded in your K-1 input like this
like this and would seamlessly follow through on your k-1 worksheets like this
See if this works for you. Good luck!
Thanks Abraham. Yes, I'm referring to Long Term Capital Gain to be informed on Schedule D, Part II, Line 9.
But I don't know how to find this field in TurboTax. Do you know how to find it? DO you know if it's possible to see the actual form, as opposed to answering questions in TurboTax, so I could input the amount manually?
Thank you!
Then go through the input, did you get a 1099b, say no, then I'll enter sales one at a time, till you get to this screen
In the description, I would enter Thru K-1, then afterwards Holding period Long term in the dropdown. You should subsequently see your desired results on that Sch D, Part II, Line 9.
Thanks, Abraham.
But for some reason, when I search " Schedule D", it does not give the option to " jump to Schedule D". Do I have to use the App or a specific version of TurboTax to have access to Schedule D?
Best regards,
Gui
IN the desktop version, you have to be very careful to enter in the search bar exactly in this way Schedule D. The 1st letter in large cap and the rest of the word in small cap followed by the letter D. In the online version, however, Personal Income, Investment Income/ Stocks, Mutual Funds/ Bonds and proceed from there.
