Fiscal year end entered incorrectly 1041

I started the Estate final 1041 return as a short return, and entered the end month accordingly.  Then the estate had an additional dividend the following month to include so the final fiscal year return actual covered the full 12 months.  I mailed the taxes in and then noticed I had not changed the end date for the fiscal year - it shows ending one month too early.  Do I need to fix this?  The amount of the added dividend was less than $5 but it was included.

Fiscal year end entered incorrectly 1041

If you want to be 100% accurate, you can simply file a return with the "amended" box checked, the correct year ending date, and a note explaining the correction. Otherwise, it most likely will not matter unless the year-end date extends into a different calendar year.
