If you entered Form 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC under that income topic, TurboTax may have created a new business to report that income. Your best option is to return to the 1099 income topic and delete the entry you made. Then enter the income under the related business.
You can delete the duplicate business from the list of businesses in your return. Use the delete/trashcan icon and confirm the deletion. Note that everything entered for that business will be removed from your return. Be sure to verify you are deleting the duplicate and not the one transferred from last year's return.
If you'd rather have a TurboTax expert assist you, consider upgrading to TurboTax Live. This online service provides step-by-step guidance from a tax expert whenever you need assistance, either over the phone or by screensharing. Or you can contact TurboTax Support.
