Turbo Tax says EIN number is invalid but I checked and it is correct.

EIN for what? A W-2 you recieved? Or it could be a 1099-R, 1099-MISC, 1099-NEC, etc. that you received also.Or maybe it's an EIN that you own for a business that you own?

Did you efile and the IRS rejected the return for the EIN?   If so and the number entered is correct  then your only option is to mail in the return.   This rejection comes about when the EIN was issued in January so the tax form can be issued and the number is not yet in the system.
