Why is turbo tax not user friendly

It is showing you are using the Online version, with the Online version, you pay for the Federal return & State return, there is no charge to e-file. The charge is the same whether you e-file or mail in your return. You cannot do 2 separate returns with the Online version under one account. In order to prepare another return, you would need to create a new account (UserID & Password). If you use the same account for the second return, then the second return will overwrite the first return.

With the CD/Download software (installs on your computer), you get 5 free Federal e-files, any returns after that would have to be mailed. There is a charge to e-file a State return. To avoid the e-file charge you can mail in the State return.
