closing business and starting new one

I have a horse boarding and trail ride business that I added selling new tack to it. I changed the name. can I show that I closed the old one and opened a new one.

Yes, you can.

When you set up the old business in TurboTax it will ask you if you stopped this work in 2019.  Select that box.

Then just enter the new business with a new name and report the income and expenses for that business.

You don't have to rename your business when you add a related product, but you can if you want to.
