1040 Paper return and W2s and 1099-R

Do you have to submit a these forms when filing a 1040 paper return.  When one files electronically, one doesn't have to send these in to the IRS, right?

Yes, and correct - when you e-file, you don't have to send in copies of forms.   When you file a return by mail, attach a copy of Forms W-2, W-2G, and 2439 to the front of Form 1040.  Also, attach Forms 1099-R if tax was withheld.   TurboTax will print an instruction sheet that lists what you need to include when mailing your return.
