I used the free Quick Employer Forms site to file a single W2 for my business. I noticed on my IRS account that they posted the W2 as a TY2023 form, even though in QEF, the printed version says 2024. Trying to determine if this is an Intuit issue or an IRS issue - and how best to correct. Has anyone else encountered this?

We have not received information or situations like yours. You can send a copy of the W-2 to the IRS with a copy of your W-3, also an explanation of what your online IRS account is showing. If you choose you can try calling, but a letter always works better for resolution.
Lastly, be sure to confirm you are not actually looking at a 2023 W-2 at the IRS site that was filed for that year (not doubting, including all steps).
I spoke to reps at both IRS and SSA. IRS confirmed that the W2 I submitted via QEF in Jan 2025 is tagged as TY2023. SSA says they have no record of that W2. So this seems like an Intuit QEF bug to me.
