If you purchased solar for your main residence should you be filing as a business? Are you considered a business because you sell energy to SRP?

You don't make anything on this really do you ?   According to the web site you get credit for "selling" your excess energy back to the electric company and the credit remains on the books until you can use it ... at no time are you paid cash for your excess energy.
