You don’t need an explanation @sunkist626. People close businesses all the time.

You can’t attach anything to an e-filed return (unless TurboTax specifically asks for something) so you will have to mail your return if you want to add a note. Send any mailed return by certified mail with proof of delivery so you have a record of filing.
