If you are using TurboTax Home and Business, enter the 1099-NEC in the Business tab rather than the Personal tab income.
If you have a version that doesn't fully support self-employment, such as Premier Desktop, the program doesn't support all business expenses.
If you are still having trouble, I suggest you try these troubleshooting steps:
- Check your internet connection. Hardwired connections work best.
- Try exiting TurboTax, restarting your device and starting TurboTax again.
- Try using a different browser. Chrome usually works well.
- Try clearing your cache and cookies.
