I completed my taxes. TurboTax tells me that I have to upgrade to Deluxe b/c I have net profit from business (schedule c-ez) I don't know what it is.How do I solve it?

You are reporting some type of income from Form 1099-MISC.

If you don't want to pay for an upgrade, I suggest you try the Free File Edition. While the name is similar to Free Edition, there are no upgrade costs.

To you qualify

Make less than $34,000 a year or

Qualify for the Earned Income Credit or

Active military making less than $66,000

Thanks Carolyn. I tried to enter my account (I've already done my taxes) via taxfreedom.com but once I log in it takes me to the regular turbo tax website and asks me to upgrade. Shall I open a new account to file for free?
