I am receiving a message that my return has not been 'finalized' and I am unsure as to where to head from here?

When completing the review process, it is stating that payment for the services by deduction from the return is not an option because my return is not 'finalized', can you assist with clarifying what I need to complete to 'finalize'?  Thank you!

There's nothing you have to do right now.  "Finalized"  would mean the forms in your return are all ready to be e-filed and, this early in the year, there are still a few forms, especially in the states, that are not final yet.  We'll send you an e-mail when your forms are final and you can return to select that form of payment and file your return then.  

Keep in mind that any returns filed with us now will have to be held until the IRS begins accepting them on 1/23, so there's still plenty time to finish up your return and still be an early filer.
