How do I know if I was affected by the second stimulus check issue?

I saw there was an issue regarding checks being sent to wrong accounts. Is there a way to know if I was among those affected?

How do I know if I was affected by the second stimulus check issue?

TurboTax did NOT receive your stimulus check.  TurboTax has NO control over your stimulus check, nor can TT track it or tell you when you will receive it.  The IRS will use the same banking information for the 2nd stimulus that they used for the first one.  If that account (or card) is closed then the stimulus will go back to the IRS and they will mail you a check.

If you received the email from Turbo Tax stating “Dear Valued TurboTax Customer,
 
Great news, your stimulus payment is on the way!
 
We are happy to share that stimulus payments will begin to be deposited starting January 8th. We expect most payments to be available that day, but your bank could take a few business days to process. Your payment will be deposited into the same bank account that you received your 2019 tax refund.
 
We have been working tirelessly with the Treasury and IRS to get your stimulus payment to you. We know how important these funds are for so many Americans and we regret that an IRS error caused a delay in you receiving your stimulus payment.
