how do I file 568?

To file Form 568 (California LLC Return of Income) in TurboTax your will need TurboTax for Business or TurboTax Desktop Home and Business. to prepare and e-file Form 568. 

Option 1

In TurboTax Home and Business Desktop, you can access the form and complete using the steps below

1. Go to Forms mode by clicking the button at the top right (top left in Mac), 
2. Then click Open Form and entering "568
3. Follow the instructions at this link to complete the form.

Option 2

To enter Form 568 in TurboTax Home and Business Desktop, follow these steps:

1. Open your return and click on State Taxes.
2. On the California Taxes page, click Edit beside Income and adjustments.
3. Under Business, click Start/Revisit beside Business Profit or Loss Adjustment.
4. Click Edit beside the business you need to report on Form 568.
5. Click "yes" that this business is owned by a Single Member LLC.
6. Continue after reading the Form 568 information.
7. A sub-form will appear.
