@PhilMason1044 No one in the user forum has access to your account(s). But the settlement pertains to users who had incomes of $34,000 or less who started in the Free Edition and ended up in a higher paid version from 2016 to 2018. Those users will receive about $30 per each year that they used TT. You do not have to "sign up." If you are one of the users who should receive a payment then it will automatically be sent to you. We do not have a timeline for when that payment will be sent.
I've been using TurboTax 2018 to 2022 I don't know if I part of the Lawson and I need to have my money back thank you y'all have a nice day and bye-bye
I want to be entered into the Class Action Lawsuit. I have used y'alls services since 2016, and feel sure I am a candidate for the $90 refund. Thank You, Patricia Stewart

See the official settlement agreement for all the details.
There is no class action lawsuit. There is a settlement between Intuit and the attorneys general of the states. Under the terms of the settlement, there is nothing you can do now to be "entered" into it. If you are a "Covered Consumer" you will automatically receive a notice and payment. Here is the definition of "Covered Consumer" from the settlement agreement.
"Covered Consumer" means any individual, or individuals if a joint return was filed, who in Tax Years 2016, 2017, or 2018 was (1) eligible to use an Intuit IRS Free File Product; (2) began his or her tax returns using a TurboTax Free Edition Product; (3) was informed that he or she was ineligible to use a TurboTax Free Edition Product; (4) subsequently paid to use a TurboTax Paid Product, and (5) had not used the Intuit IRS Free File Product in a previous tax year.
All the details are in the press release from the Attorney General of New York and the settlement agreement, at the following links.

The Oversight Committee has not announced when they will start sending payments. It's going to take at least a few months. If you are a Covered Consumer you will get a notice before you get the payment. See the definition of "Covered Consumer" in my earlier post immediately above yours.

The settlement covers only tax years 2016, 2017, and 2018. Any other years that you used TurboTax don't matter.
Hi This means that I don't have to enter our name to the settlement? I thought we have to enter our information Please advice so im sure to be added to the list
Thank you
@robertovega03 That's right. You do not have to enter your name. In fact, there is no way for you to enter your name. The Fund Administrator will identify the Covered Consumers using information provided by Intuit. If you are a Covered Consumer the Fund Administrator will contact you.
I am just one of millions that have uses turbotax for my refunds and have had to pay over $200-$300 for filing fees. I have not received my refund for that at all.
The settlement agreement covers users who used TurboTax in 2016, 2017 or 2018. If you are one of the affected users you will receive about $30 for each of those years in which your income was $34,000 or less and in which you started in the Free Edition and were upgraded to a paid version of the software.
You do not have to “sign up” or get on a list. The payments will be sent out automatically to the affected users. We do not know yet how soon the payments will be sent.
Just got paid $139.08 for the settlement. Half of the money had attorney fees and court costs taken out already, so $139.08 was the final amount I got. Just got it yesterday.

That is for some earlier settlement. It is not for the settlement between Intuit and the state attorneys general that was signed on May 4, 2022.
