How do I delete state carryforward deduction when I'm no longer eligible for it?

The program allows me to say "no" but doesn't delete the carryforward.

Can you clarify better what state carryforward deduction you are referring to?

Nevermind. I ended up responding "yes" to having a carryforward amount and then put "0" for the amount and that seemed to have worked.
