How can I remove the Qualified Business Income Deduction, as I am not self-employed and this does not apply to me?

My deductions included a $1 Qualified Business Income Deduction, which I don't know where that came from. I am not self-employed or have additional business income and I'm looking to remove this in my summary.

The most likely source for this, if you do not have a business, is a pass-through of this deduction via dividends you have reported.

If any of your form 1099-DIVs have "section 199A" dividends, this is the source of the number and the calculation you are seeing is correct.

You probably have an amount in Box 5 of a 1099-DIV accounting for that.  It is legitimate so don’t correct it.
