Does it say what's supposedly wrong with it?
Sometimes there are printing errors that chop off a digit or someone mistypes one. It should be 9 digits long.
First, I'd check your mailbox and make sure you haven't already received a corrected form. Assuming you haven't, I'd then call the daycare's office and ask them about it. It could be it hasn't been pointed out to them yet. They should be able to get you the correct EIN.
As for whether/how it would be a good idea to just continue filing without getting a corrected number or a corrected form, I don't know. Hopefully someone else can chime in on that.
If the program isn’t accepting the EIN you’re entering, make all possible attempts to get a valid EIN, as terry-n is suggesting.
But, at the end of the day, if it’s not accepting the EIN, you’ll need to file your return on paper. The IRS requires a valid EIN or SSN; without one, your return won’t be accepted in e-file. With a paper-filed return, an actual person will be able to research and match up the EIN.
Please see the TurboTax Help articles How do I print and mail my return in TurboTax Online? or How do I print and mail a return in the TurboTax for Windows CD/Download software? as appropriate for the instructions on filing your return by mail.
