Hello, my last name is more than 20 characters. how should I proceed?

Leave off characters on the end of your name until the program accepts it. The IRS computer only matches the first 4 or so characters anyway.

Enter the first 20 characters. The IRS only checks the first 4 characters of your name and matches it with your SSN.
