Hi -
I have a single member LLC and sent a W9 to a client, but I incorrectly put the business name on Line 1. I used the business EIN as well.
After reviewing, it appears I should have put my personal name on line 1, business name on line 2.
Having made this mistake, what should I do to correct it?

That should be ok. The W9 does not go to the IRS, only to the person. It's just to give them your ssn or EIN.
That is good to hear. I just started and didn't want to tell my client I have no clue what I'm doing...
So even though I put my biz name on line 1 and used my LLC EIN, it should flow through fine when I report on my Schedule C?
Yes ... when you got the EIN for a sole prop you linked it to your SS# and on the Sch C the SS# & the EIN are both entered so they are also linked that way. Life is good.
