Filing separate state returns for Schedule k-1 only

I have some income in HI and AZ states, but the only income I have is on a schedule k-1; I have no other income in those states.  Do I have to file a return in those states for only schedule k-1s??

Generally, if you meet the filing requirements for non-residents, then you file a tax return in HI and AZ.
