Does turbotax business file form IT-204-LL (LLC Partnership Filing Fee)? The NY state website lists it, but I don't see the form being listed on the website. Thanks.

The Form IT-204-LLC is not supported for e-filing in 2017 TurboTax Business. You can go here State Forms Availability Table for TurboTax Business and it will show you a list of forms supported for NY. 

Also, per NY's Department of Taxation and Finance: "Electronically file your Form IT-204-LL using New York State-approved software. For more information, see E-file Approved Software Developers for Partnership" and once you click that E-file Approved Software link, it will show you which versions are approved for that form for 2017 and the prior 2 tax years. 

You may be able to contact NY State Department of Taxation and Finance to receive an e-file exemption for not being able to e-file that form since the software you are using doesn't support e-filing for it. They'll let you know if that is an option or not. You can find their contact information here https://www.tax.ny.gov/help/contact/default.htm

I am curious as well. I found the form in Turbotax Business and it is accurate. I can save/print a PDF copy, but NY says we need to file it electronically or risk being penalized... Does the form get filed with the NYS Tax return? I could not find a definitive answer.

Filers

Partnerships must electronically file if they meet all three of the following conditions:

• prepare tax documents themselves, without the assistance of a tax professional;
• use approved e-file tax software to prepare their return or extension; and
• have broadband Internet access.

If you file by paper and meet the above conditions, you will be subject to penalties.

Form IT-204-LL, Limited Liability Company/Partnership Filing Fee Payment Form will be updated on 02/11/2022  and you should be able to e-file it as well.

Our Availability tables states that this form is available.  

Check your 2021 state forms availability in these tables.

Keep in mind:

• It takes some time to incorporate state forms into TurboTax. While they may be available from your state on a given date, we need a few days to make the forms available for use in TurboTax.

• When you locate your form or schedule, there will be dates for Print and (for some states) E-file availability. If the E-file form is listed as unsupported, the form or schedule must be printed and you'll need to mail your return.

• Forms and schedules missing from the table aren't supported in TurboTax.

Is the IT-204-LLC available on Turbo Tax Deluxe version for NYS filing electronically?  I don't see the form anywhere?  Where would it be listed?

This is showing available to e-file. To confirm, are you just utilizing TurboTax Deluxe to file? You will need TurboTax Business for this form.
