Correcting 1099 to $0

Hello,

I see this was an issue last year as well. I need to file a corrected 1099-NEC for $0. When I attempt to do so via TurboTax, I am told the form is incomplete because there is no amount (even when I type in $0.00). Please help me fix this fast as I don't want my contractor double taxed.

To fix it, try these options:

By deleting the form and starting over:

• Open your return.
• Select Tax Tools in the left-hand menu.
• Click on Tools.
• Select Delete a form.

How to clear your cache 

*** On the other hand, you don't need to include your 1099 NEC as long as you haven't filed your tax return yet. But make sure to keep it for your records.
