Yes, TurboTax Home and Business does support Form 568 for a single member LLC, however, if you have a multimember LLC, then you will need TurboTax Business with Form 565. Additionally Form 568 cannot be e-filed but below are instructions for printing and mailing.  For more information about TurboTax Business and a link to download click here

Here is a TurboTax FAQ with listings of what forms are supported in the state returns for individual versions of TurboTax.  If the form is not listed, it is not supported.  Just click on the link for California in your version of TurboTax.

How is it possible that TurboTax does not support Form 568 for single and yet it does not prompt or let users know about it ?

It does not list form 568 as available in Home and Business? Is it embedded somewhere? A search comes up blank too.

Form 568 is a California Limited Liability Company Return of Income

It is available using the Business Edition and then purchase and download the California state business tax program from within the Business Edition.

Go to this TurboTax website for the Business Edition - https://turbotax.intuit.com/small-business-taxes/

The Business Edition can only be installed on a Windows based personal computer, not on a Mac or online.  The Business Edition cannot complete a personal tax return, Form 1040.

Additionally, the California Form 568 is Also available in the CA state program in the personal editions of TurboTax, online or desktop.  However, the Form 568 can only be printed and mailed with the CA state tax return, it cannot be e-filed.

1. Can I access a completed Form 568 to print from previous years that I've filed on TurboTax? If so, what steps do I need to take to do this? 

2. If I haven't finished filing for 2019, how/where do I print Form 568?
